Owner, operator, chief instructor and head mechanic, John, served for over 30 years in the British Army, retiring in 2015. His passion for bicycle mechanics was ignited while competing in triathlons with the Army team. While still serving he qualified in UK as a certified bicycle mechanic in 2014. He started his career as a pro bike mechanic in 2016. In 2024, John combined his love of teaching, a former military instructor, and his love of bicycle mechanics and established K2O School of Bicycle Mechanic.
