Bicycle Enthusiast Course: Maintenance and On-The -Ride-Repairs A one-day course, 9-5, with lunch provided. Our most popular course. Over the course of the day, you will work through a high-level tune-up of your bike. Along the way you will learn how: to disassemble and clean, lubricate and reassemble the drivetrain, adjust brakes and gears, fix a flat, repair a chain and a lot more.

Advanced Course Module 7 – Wheels, Tires, Tube and Tubeless Without doubt the coolest bike mechanic skill is to build a wheel. Wheel building is one of the few skills that no machine can currently do better than a person. The finest wheels are built by hand, and during this one-day course you will learn how to (and will) build a wheel. Tire standards, rim standards, flat repairs and tubeless set-up complete this comprehensive training day on wheels and tires.

The Shop Mechanic Course (One Week) Bicycle stores recruit junior, intermediate and advanced bicycle mechanics. Not every mechanic in a bicycle store will know advanced bicycle mechanics, nor need they. The shop mechanic course aims to get you to the level needed to start working in a bicycle store. Our philosophy is to teach you what you need to know and how to do those things to a high and professional standard. You will be able to ace any technical evaluation, a common requirement in obtaining a post in a bicycle store as a mechanic. You will be competent in assembling bicycles, performing level 1 and level 2 tune-ups, you will be able to adjust all gear and brake systems, adjust bearings, fault find issues and diagnose solutions. Modules included:
Foundations and derailleur systems
Wheel truing, tube and tubeless tire systems
